Countertop Options

*Green Products Offering. Visit HC Cabinets & Design Center for more information on these eco-friendly options - Plyboo, PaperStone, Vetrazzo.
  • Paperstone*: Paperstone is a beautiful, reliable alternative to traditional solid surfaces. It is composed of post-consumer recycled paper or FSC-Certified paper and a cashew nut oil-base phenolic resin.
  • Vetrazzo*: Vetrazzo is mostly glass with each surface having it's own story.
  • Laminate: Laminate countertops are inexpensive, low-maintenance and grease and stain resistant. Laminate comes in a wide range of colors, patterns and textures.
  • Solid Surface: Corian is the most popular brand name for solid surface countertops. This type of countertop blends acrylic polymers with stone-derived materials to make a durable surface. Because it is solid, or the pattern/color runs throughout, any chips, dents or scratches can be repaired easily. Comes in a variety of color and finishes, and it is flexible enough to form decorative shapes and an integral sink.
  • Granite: Granite is the traditional favorite choice for kitchen countertops. It is durable - chip and scratch resistant, and when properly sealed it is virtually stain resistant. Nothing compares to the natural, organic look of granite.
  • Concrete: Concrete is a natural, handmade material that can be used as countertops in kitchens and bathrooms. Concrete countertops are extremely versatile - enhancing any decor. HC Cabinets & Design Cener makes concrete countertop from scratch for a completely custom design.
  • Engineered Stone/Quart Surfacing: Such as Silestone, Ceasar Stone & Zodiaq. These products are engineered using quartz crystals, the same minerals in granite. Quartz surfaces are very easy to maintain.
